Lisle currently has about a thousand inhabitants, but grows to more during the summer months.

Located in the center of a triangle comprising Riberac, Brantome, Perigueux, Lisle is near the main tourist attractions of the region.

The current transformation plan land use in the local plan to reflect the strong demand in the property and real estate. Presence of many traders and craftsmen, a number of students to ensure both schools (100 children) but also about preserving farmland and natural in a pleasant environment and quality of living.

Lisle is a small heritage with interesting hall, church closed, castles, fountains and wash houses including the famous Bullidour, but also attractive and welcoming tourist structures, such as camping and swimming arranged and supervised, nestled along the Dronne in a pleasant and green.

The market Tuesday morning and Saturday morning for local producers, the presence of essential public services, energy and crafts shops give the town a permanent entertainment and country, far from the hectic activities of the big city. Finally many associations, make our village a village asset or succeed frequent sporting, cultural or other, including the famous feast of St. Roch.
